“Winey” Wednesday – Disney’s Food & Wine Review – Ireland

Post by MickeyMouse71   /

What better place to try some English cheese and bread than Ireland.  There are so many wonderful places to eat while you’re visiting Disney World and especially while you’re at The Food & Wine Festival.  This is one of those places that is just good to stop for a snack, if you aren’t too full.

Irish Cheese Selection Plate – $4.25

The Irish cheddar is a hard cheese with a mild flavor.  The Dubliner is also a hard cheese with a stronger flavor that has a wonderful taste.  Irish Porter is a softer and creamier cheese with a marble design and has a very mild flavor that melts in your mouth.  As you can see I really love cheese.

Bunratty Meade Honey Wine – $5.50

I paired my cheese with a taste of Bunratty Meade Honey Wine and was delightfully surprised by the taste.  It was sweet without it being a dessert wine and was served warm.  The pairing of this wine with the cheese was a great selection and I would definitely stop back again to try this.

Fall in Disney World is one of my favorite times of the year.  If you are looking to plan a getaway this fall let me show you all the amazing things Disney has to offer, including the Wine & Food Festival.
