“Winey” Wednesday – Disney’s Food & Wine Review – Canada

I haven’t ever had the pleasure of taking a trip to Canada except while in Epcot.  The first food I ate there was at Le Cellier Steakhouse and the food was almost beyond words.  The steak melted in your mouth and the side dishes are too many to mention.  So, when we decided to try the Canada kiosk I had no idea how much my husband was going to love these fantastically small delights.  Sadly, I couldn’t try any of these items because of the onion and garlic used in the recipes.  However, when I ate at Le Cellier the chefs are amazing and made sure that I could have a steak with only pepper and salt.  They really go above and beyond in Disney to accommodate food allergies.

CANADIAN CHEDDAR CHEESE SOUP – $4.75

The soup was creamy but a little salty.  It had an appetizing mild cheese flavor that wasn’t overpowering.  The choice for a pretzel roll really elevated this delicious soup.

“LE CELLIER” WILD MUSHROOM BEEF FILET MIGNON – $7.75

The filet was fork tender and slightly pink in the middle.  It had an unparalleled rich taste that made my husband want an entire steak like this.  The truffle sauce with sautéed mushrooms added a perfect sauce to this already delicious steak.

Fall is a fun and exciting time to visit Disney World.  Let me know how I can help you plan a magical vacation where you can enjoy the Epcot Food & Wine Festival along with all the other exciting adventures Disney has to offer.
