Winey Wednesday – Disney’s Food & Wine Review – Canada

One of my favorite locations to eat a sit down meal is at LeCellier Steakhouse in Canada because their steak is fantastic.  The chefs always do an fabulous job of making sure that there are no additional spices on my steak which is why I will spend the money to eat at this location.  Unfortunately at the Food & Wine Festival I can’t eat at the kiosk but was with someone recently who had a chance to try the cheddar and bacon soup.  It is always fun to see what others think of the foods at the kiosks.

CANADIAN CHEDDAR AND BACON SOUP WITH PRETZEL ROLL – $5.00

The soup was a good consistency that wasn’t too thick or thin.  There was plenty of bacon in the soup where you weren’t searching for one more piece.  Because of the bacon it did make the soup a little salty but the pairing of the pretzel bread helped to offset the salty taste.  Definitely something that she would eat again, even in the heat.

It seems that everyone who tries this soup loves it.  I’ve talked with random people who are excited to sample it everytime they visit the Food & Wine Festival.  I hope that this might encourage you to try this amazing dish while strolling around the World Showcase.
