It has been a few Monday’s since I shared a fun fact.  So, today I’m going to share some good news about the Main Street Electrical Parade.  Disney has decided that this parade will continue its limited time engagement until August 20^th, 2017 in Disneyland.

This parade began at Disneyland in 1972 and continued its parade route until 1996.  When it returned to Disneyland’s Resort in 2001, it was renamed Disney’s Electrical Parade and landed at Disney’s California Adventure Park.  This is where the parade made its home until 2010 when it made the return back to Disney World.

It has been some time since The Main Street Electrical Parade has been at Disneyland and people have been so excited to see it back where it belongs, at its original home.  I’m beyond thrilled that they extended the run so that I can view it in July when I’m there.

Disney hasn’t revealed what it intends to do with this parade after August 20^th, so if you want to catch this parade one more time, let me know how I can help you plan a magical vacation to Disneyland.
