I can’t believe that the Food & Wine Festival is right around the corner.  This is one of my favorite events and I can’t wait to go again this year.  There are so many different and inspiring food & wine options that you can purchase throughout World Showcase.  Not only do the 11 countries in World Showcase provide food and drink options, but more than 20 additional marketplaces have food and drink options from around the world.  People often think that Disney is only for kids, but I can tell you that this is one of the best adult activities that you can experience while visiting the Disney parks.

This year the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will run from September 14th through November 14th – growing to 62 days this year.  There are so many events and activities again this year, but here are just a few to get you inspired to attend this years events:

• There will be more than 30 global marketplaces where you can sample foods from a specific country – including new beef brisket options along with vegan Greek nachos.
• How about a hands-on experience with chefs and bakers as well as a new cooking school?
• Do you watch the Food Network?  You might recognize some of these celebrity chefs who will be returning this year – Jamie Dean “Cake Boss”, Buddy Valastro, Masaharu Morimoto, Elizabeth Faulkner, Norman Van Aken and Cat Cora.
• If chefs and outstanding food aren’t enough how about the Eat to the Beat concerts that will also be returning.  There are 8 new acts along with some returning favorites this year including – Wilson Phillips, Boyz II Men and Wang Chung opening the festival from September 14th – 16th.
