Disneyland – Tiki Juice Bar

Disney fanatics and visitors alike are confronted with the same question as they head off to a Disney Theme park, what should we eat?  This question has many answers from main meals to snacks and everything in between.  I’m going to start with one of the most beloved snack shacks in Disneyland, The Tiki Juice Bar.

Located at the entrance to Adventureland, this tiny little stand with its thatched roof and incredible snacks, draws in thousands of people every day to try the island treats.  In 1976 Dole began sponsoring this snack location and The Enchanted Tiki Room.  Although The Enchanted Tiki Room opened in 1963, this snack location didn’t open until 1976 and remains a snack location favorite.  Not only can you find the infamous Dole Whip at this location, you can get a Dole Whip Float, pineapple juice and pineapple spears.  So for those food enthusiasts, this is the place to get something delicious before heading on to the Jungle Cruise.

There are so many food choices to try at a Disney Theme park, and I can’t begin to tell you about all of them right now.  However, this is one of my favorites and I recommend that you stand in that long line and try it at least once.  There are many fun places to get a variety of average and scrumptious snacks throughout the parks.  In future blogs I will share with you where you can find these delicious treats and which ones are my favorites.
