It has finally been announced when the “official” celebration will begin.  May 22, 2015 begins the 60th Anniversary celebration of Disneyland.  Along with the celebrations will come some new changes to the parades and decorations.  “Paint the Night” Parade can be seen in Disneyland park.  Unlike any other parade seen in Disneyland, this parade will use more than 1.5 million LED lights that will flash and glow.

“Disneyland Forever” fireworks will be the new show over the castle that will immerse you into the Disney story.  This show will also extend down Mainstreet U.S.A., It’s a Small World, Rivers of America and the Matterhorn by using projectors to share the story.

In Disney California Adventure Park you will be able to watch “World of Color – Celebrate”.  This new show will bring to life the story of Walt told by Mickey Mouse.  This amazing nighttime water spectacular is sure to keep everyone entertained.

Sleeping Beauty Castle and Carthay Circle Theater will also transform into a Diamond sparkling celebration.  Each will adorn its own Diamond medallion and the surrounding streets will also sparkle with diamond decor and banners.  Along with the visual celebrations there will be merchandise to match this “Diamond” celebration.
