Disney Princess 5K
Do a Disney race, they said it would be fun. Well…it was lots of fun. I wasn’t sure this morning at 4:30am what everyone’s definition of fun was, but I soon found out that many people are awake this early, and in a good mood. How crazy is that?! I was among 13,500 people who were there to run or walk their way through Epcot. It was so much fun to see all the amazing outfits. I will definitely need to think through my costume a little more next time. (Not sure a tutu is in my future, but something fun to look forward too)
I’ve had the pleasure of booking some travel for clients just for this event. Now I understand why people are so into the Disney races. They make it so much fun for everyone. As someone who can’t run, I enjoy walking and Disney makes this 5K a fun time for everyone. Throughout Epcot there were even places that you could stop and get your picture taken with characters. I think if I do this with friends in the future, we will definitely stop and do this. Today it was all about trying to improve my personal time, which I did and finally was under 1 hour – 55:07.
Let me know how I can help make your marathon wishes come true. The races that are still happening in 2019 are The Star Wars Rival Run Weekend – April 4th – 7th, and The Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend – October 31st – November 3rd. Races for 2020 are The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend – January 8th – 12th. More races will be released as we get further into the year so if you are interested in participating in one of these events, please let me know how I can make your marathon dreams come true.
