Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

Post by MickeyMouse71   /

I’m so excited to share some of the wonderful things I was able to see and do at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this year.  It was so much fun to see all of the Halloween and fall decorations and how Magic Kingdom is transformed into a “Not So Scary” place.  Below is the park map, etc. of everything offered at the party this year.  I will also put some fun photos at the bottom.

Many people feel that the ticket price isn’t worth the time you are allowed in the park.  However, I’m thrilled to share with you that I feel it is completely worth the price and that you have plenty of time to be in Magic Kingdom.  With the purchase of the party ticket you can enter Magic Kingdomat at 4:00pm and then the party begins at 7:00pm and runs until 12:00am. I was able to ride multiple rides and still have plenty of time to enjoy the “Boo-to-You” Parade, Hallowishes Fireworks and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

As always the parade was sensational and I was so excited to see the headless horseman ride twice, this is the coolest part of the parade in my opinion.  The fireworks were breathtaking as Disney doesn’t cut corners on their fireworks shows and the Sanderson Sisters were so much fun to watch at the Villain Spelltacular.  There is so much to see and do at the party you need to plan out what is most important to you.  There are also many characters that you won’t see on an ordinary day, so if seeing those characters is important make sure and find out where they are and get there early.  Don’t miss out on trick-or-treating because even as an adult this is fun.  (Besides you get all kinds of candy to take home with you, more than I would care to admit.)  Although candy is fun don’t forget to try these specialty foods;  Jack Skellington Dessert, Hitchhiking Ghost Dessert, Oogie Boogie Meringue, Maleficent Dessert, Madame Leota Dessert, and Worms and Dirt Dessert.  These looked fantastic and from what I was hearing they tasted as good as they looked.

As you can see there are many things to see and do at the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  I recommend if you have the opportunity then spend the extra money for the ticket and have a wonderful, “not-so-scary” Halloween experience at Magic Kingdom.
