Christmas Decorations are up at Hollywood Studios

Post by MickeyMouse71   /

It is so gorgeous here, I can hardly put it into words.  They do so much in Hollywood Studios and I’m excited to share all of the fun holiday changes.  Each area is magnificent but I have to admit that Toy Story Land is my favorite.  They weren’t huge changes, but even just the simple changes brought the Christmas spirit to Andy’s Backyard.  I loved that Slinky Dog Dash now has a sleigh bell sound as it comes around some of the corners.  It is more like Slinky Dog Sleigh Ride.  You have to listen for it, but it is a fabulous addition.  Througout the park you can hear Christmas music being played which really puts you in the holiday spirit.  You might be like me and find yourself singing along to many of the songs.

I love Christmas trees and it would be so much fun to decorate a tree this size.  I can’t even imagine how much garland and ornaments it takes to make this tree so beautiful.

Gertie is sitting in the lake surrounded by Christmas tree decorations, but sadly she still didn’t have her santa hat on yet today.

Santa is coming to town.

Rex got new snowflake ears.

Buzz is happy that he gets to wear a santa hat and Wood has a new Christmas vest, mistletoe in his hat and a candy cane in his holster.

Jessie’s peppermint vest is so cute and Ham the “cookie” is a great photo spot.

Even the little green army men get to have a Christmas scarf.

How about the large space alien Christmas ornaments.  Another great photo spot.

Woody’s Lunch Box also got a makeover and there is popcorn strung along the top.  How many people have actually strung popcorn on their trees?

The Hollywood Tower of Terror also went through a snowy change and is now the Hollywood “Toy” Hotel.  The show on the front is so breathtaking and watching it snow in Florida is so much fun.

Nothing is more pretty than a beautifully lit Chrismtas tree.  I love how this tree sits in the water and the reflection is stunning.

After walking around the park in the daytime and at night, I was able to stay and watch the Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam show.  This was an entertaining show with lots of lights and fireworks.  (I will post the show in its entirety on The Infinity Mouse Facebook page.). So many treasures I found today and I can’t wait for others to see all of the Holiday Disney magic that is in Hollywood Studios.  I hope you all enjoy getting into the holiday spirit.
