Disney Legend says that a typhoon came through this tropical area and in the wake of destruction left behind ships, fishing gear, surfboards and a varitey of beach items. A shrimp boat, “Miss Tilly”, landed atop Mount Mayday and is still there. Mount Mayday errupts every half hour with a 50 foot geyser of water and the mascot is “Lagoona Gator”. Make sure and keep a sharp eye open for any other sudden typhoons or you might just find “Miss Tilly” on top of Mt. Everest. (Wouldn’t that be a surprise when people entered Animal Kingdom the next day.)
