Winey Wednesday – Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, Norway – Salted Pecan Triple Chocolate-Chip Cookie

In how many languages can you say YUMMY!! Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to begin. I read about this cookie online and knew that I had to try it, but didn’t know it was going to be this delicious. I should probably tell you that pecans, caramel and chocolate is one of my favorite combinations, so that might sway my opinion…a little.

Salted Pecan Triple Chocolate-Chip Cookie – $4.99

Let’s start with this is a GIGANTIC cookie and when you order they will ask if you want it warmed up. Trust me you want it warmed up. It wasn’t too hot, but just enough to warm it all the way through and warm the gooey center. Let me tell you about the outside before I move to the scrumptious inside. I don’t really like hard cookies and this one when warmed was a wonderful consistency, a little crunchy on the edges and then soft the rest of the way through. The top was covered with pecans, chocolate chips and a little salt. Not sure what to say except oh my. The savory inside was filled with more chocolate, pecans and caramel. I recommend planning on sitting down to eat this cookie and using a fork, it is more like a small meal than a dessert. This would be a wonderful treat to share with a loved one. Overall I would absolutely recommend trying this cookie as you’re heading around World Showcase or possibly on your way into the Frozen ride, it can be a long wait. Grab a bottle of water as well because you will need something to drink with it.

Desserts are really my favorite and I love finding new ones to share. So don’t just race past Norway, give this bakery a try and find out what your favorite dessert might be.
