“Winey” Wednesday – Disney’s Food & Wine Review – New Zealand

Post by MickeyMouse71   /

Are you a foodie?  Do you love Disney?  If you answered yes to those 2 questions then Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival is where you want to be this fall.  For a while on Wednesday’s I’m going to be writing about the Food & Wine Festival and what you can expect this year.  The following reviews were all kiosks that were present during the 2016 Festival and items that my husband and I experienced.  Many of the same kiosks will be returning for the Food & Wine Festival this year, which runs from August 31st – November 13th, 2017.   (There are some new additions that I will mention in future blogs.)  Along with the food and beverages you can try there will be cooking demonstrations (some with celebrity chefs), mixology classes, wine tastings and live musical performances.

The first kiosk that we visited was New Zealand.  There were a variety of choices as you can see from the menu.  (My husband tried the Lamb Meatball and his review is below.)  Keep in mind that these are “sample” portions so that you can experience many different selections throughout your day in Epcot.  It can be expensive but the experience of trying different foods and beverages from different countries is extraordinary.

LAMB MEATBALL – $5.25

Fantastic flavor with meat and stewed tomatoes and a bread surrounding the meatball.  The balance of flavor was pleasant and the presentation was appealing.

The food and wine at this event are amazing and the atmosphere is perfect.  This is a wonderful festival for adults to have a place to escape from the everyday workweek.   Let me know how I can help you get to this magical fall festival where you can eat and drink your way around the world of Epcot.
