Amorette’s Patisserie has so many delicious offerings it is hard to not keep going back. This time I decided to try the “Blood Orange Mousse” and as always I found something else I love.

The presentation of this dessert was appealing and gave you the sense that you were going to be trying a refreshing orange treat. The glaze on top had a hint of orange but wasn’t overly sweet. The inside mousse was light and paired well with the lemon chiffon cake. I enjoyed the flavor of the cake but I do think they could have had a little more cake to balance out the richness of the mousse. It was filled with a grapefruit gelee, or jellied food. This was delightful and I wish there had been more of this in the middle. This grapefruit flavor really brought the whole dessert together for me.

If you are looking for a lighter treat in Disney Springs, or maybe just something different than chocolate, I suggest stopping in to Amorette’s to try the Blood Orange Mousse before it is gone on September 2nd.
