…The Main Street Electrical Parade!!

It is official, The Main Street Electrical Parade has returned to Disneyland.  How exciting that this parade has returned after it began here in 1972.  Since then it has been in Disney World, California Adventure, back to Disney World and now finally returning home.  Sadly it has been announced that this limited engagement will only be from January 20th – June 18th, 2017.

Whether you are watching this for the very first time, or are one of the lucky ones to be enjoying it multiple times, this parade is timeless.  From the inspired synthesizer music of the “Baroque Hoedown” to the amazing lights, you will be moved to dance along as the parade heads down Main Street.  This parade has moved people for generations and inspired many to return to Disneyland, California Adventure and Disney World just so they could see it one more time.  Thankfully I have been able to view it at all three locations, but nothing will ever change how I felt when I first saw it as a child in Disney World.  This is what has led me to my life of enjoying Disney and sharing it with others.
