We have been waiting a while to hear from Disney about new changes coming to the Fastpass+ reservations.  Well the time has arrived and Disney has released the new changes coming on April 10th.

I know I am most excited about this first item and I know many of you who have traveled recently will be thrilled to hear this as well.  You will no longer need to go to a Fastpass+ kiosk to make additional selections.  You will now be able to book additional Fastpass+ selections through the MyDisneyExperience app.  No more waiting in the long lines to get one more Fastpass+ selection.  In addition to making that extra selection, you will also be able to make that new selection at a different park if you plan on park hopping.  This is so exciting!!  Up until now you’ve had to be inside the park and at a kiosk to make additional selections.  Now with this new feature you can finish up in one park and be headed to another and making an additional Fastpass+ selection on you way.

With the new system you will also be able to choose attractions and times simultaneously.  This will enhance your ability to better customize your schedules.  Another feature that will be utilized frequently is the ability to remove individual guests from a Fastpass+ reservation and the ability to cancel a single reservation instead of all of your selections.  With that being said, when you first choose your selections beginning at 60 days before your travel date, you can now choose 1 t0 3 Fastpass+ selections.  You will no longer be forced to pick 3.

According to WDW News Today, “Guests will see significant changes to the look of the app ( and kiosk interface) on April 10th, 2016, but larger changes that will make the app look and function more like the new official Disneyland Resort app are still expected at a later date.”
