MNSSHP - MVMCP Dates 2016

Are you wondering what those letters mean?  They stand for some of the most beloved parties held at Disney World.  The first one is for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the second one is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  The dates have just been released and if you are looking for that special trip this fall these are 2 activities you won’t want to miss.

I have had the opportunity to attend both of these events and at each event I had a magnificent time.  There are special fireworks, a special parade, characters you might not see at other times, holiday food items, and select rides that are open for you to enjoy.  I couldn’t believe how happy and joyous people were to be celebrating these 2 events.  It was fun to be a part of these and I would definitely spend the money to attend these events again.

During the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party I was able to meet villain’s, go trick-or-treating, dress up in a costume and see the fantastic “Boo to You” parade that begins with the headless horseman riding down the parade route.    You won’t want to miss out on visiting the Haunted Mansion, it is extra creepy and there are fun photo opportunities everywhere.  (Just one of the extra fun places to visit during this party.)  The cost is a little expensive, but the evening spent enjoying Halloween with some of Disney’s most beloved characters is worth the cost.

The Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite additional activity that I have done at Disney World.  It might have something to do with loving Christmas, but this event was simply amazing.  The decorations are magnificent, the Christmas treats can’t be missed and the idea that you can meet all 7 Dwarfs had me jumping for joy.  The fireworks show and parade are indescribable and the joy and laughter that fill the air is wonderful.  Again the cost can be a little expensive, especially if there are more than 2 of you, but it is well worth your money.  The lines for select rides that are open are shorter than you will find during the day and don’t forget that limited edition merchandise that you can purchase.  I couldn’t imagine the idea of it snowing in Disney World, but somehow Disney magic is even able to have that happen.

If you are planning on visiting Disney World during the fall, let me know how I can help you plan a magical Halloween or Christmas vacation that includes one of these not-to-miss events.
