Disney Skyliner Gondolas “Unwrapped”

Post by MickeyMouse71   /

How exciting to see 55 of the Disney Skyliner gondolas unwrapped yesterday. For a while now you might have been able to catch a glimpse of what was behind the white wrapping of the gondola cars if they caught the sunlight just right. Well the wait is over and now you can see many characters from the most beloved movies flying high about your head as testing between Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort continues.

This fall if you are staying at one of Disney’s Skyliner Resorts – Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort or the all new Disney’s Riviera Resort, then you will be able to ride Disney’s Skyler if you’re heading to Epcot or Hollywood Studios. This will definitely make your transportation quicker to these 2 theme parks and will give you an exhilarating ride along the way.

Hank from “Finding Dory” – Flying high above Hollywood Studios
Crush and Friends are far from the water today
Dopey – “Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs”
“Toy Story” characters having some fun
The Claw
“Monster’s, Inc.”
Pluto
Mrs. Potts & Chip – “Beauty & the Beast”
Lumiere & Cogsworth
“Ratatouille”
“Zootopia”
Baby Marshmallows
Kristof & Sven – “Frozen”
Chewbacca
“Pirates of the Caribbean”
Madame Leota – “Haunted Mansion”
“Wreck It Ralph”
“Guardians of the Galaxy”
Huey, Duey & Luey
Wendy, Michael & John
Mr. Smee – “Peter Pan”
Pua & Hei Hei – “Moana”

I can’t wait to take this new flying adventure once it opens this fall. Keep watching for more information as Disney releases when the Skyliner will actually open and when new sections are being completed. I’m hoping they will have even more characters from other movies as more cars are added. Who are you most excited to see flying high above your head?

To Infinity and Beyond Travel & The Infinity Mouse – Traci – “Gliders, sailplanes, they are wonderful flying machines. It’s the closest you can come to being a bird” – Neil Armstrong – So glad Disney brought back the gondolas so we can all feel like we’re flying!
